Easy (to) beat ...

I managed the out and return from Echunga Road to the lookout in 49 minutes and 56 seconds yesterday (2 Sep '07) - which was a BIG effort for me (especially the last 500m to get under 50 minutes). Time out was 25:30, return 24:26. Time excludes a few minutes for a comfort break at the lookout.

According to my Edge 305:
- Distance: 16.97 km
- Total ascent: 275 m
- Average speed: 20.4 km/h
- Max speed: 44.7 km/h
- Average heart rate: 158 bpm
- Maximum heart rate: 185 bpm

Ride was on my Giant Reign (propedal off, if that makes a difference).

The track is in great shape for a fast time. No doubt the Manly Dam 34 minute boys (Rob, Matt) and many others can beat my time by miles ...
