The Resurrection of Lumleys Climb

This is the trackwork session you don't want to miss, one word....Lumley’s!

We have the last round of our Summer 4hr Series on Sunday the 19th and we would like to use this trail. If you’re not familiar with it, it’s the trail to the right part way in the climb out of Max's Bridge.

This trail hasn't been used for some time because of major erosion but we have plans to resurrect it, this is the biggest job we have attempted in a long time.

There will be a variety of tasks to do; trimming branches and edges, raking the trail clear, moving fill and some mesh installation.

We are bringing in some additional powered equipment to use on the day but shovels, rakes and wheel barrows are always useful.

For safety we recommend you wear boots, long trousers, gloves and a hat.

Bring yourself some water and a snack. There will be additional water and drinks available, and we will have a BBQ post work.

This may require some extra time to complete so there might be some work to do on the Sunday as well, if you might be able make this then please let us know.
