Original retail $8499,I bought this from the original owner for $6400 at 3 months old with less than 200km on the clock in early 2010. No idea what I was thinking, to be honest, as this is a world-champion class bike and I am not one of them. I was doing enduro races at the time but work life balance changed, and now I favour the Yet 575 for the type of week-end riding I do these days.

It is a beautiful thing to own and although I have only ridden it at most a dozen times, every time was a joy.

I realised pretty quickly this bike is much better than I am, but could not bring myself to part with it. However it makes me weep to see it sitting in the lock up never getting out every time I take another bike out, hence the gut-wrenching decision to part with it. It needs RIDING by some racer who can do it justice.

Complete Frameskin wrap intact, except for cranks and forks, which to be honest were more of a pain than anything as they collected so much dirt so I took them off.

The cranks have some shoe scuffing, as do the swing arms. Also a small amount of scuffing from transportation on the seat tube. The frame has minor scuffing only, as the beast has thrown me on several occasions but has never had a real prang, and there are no scratches of a structural nature anywhere. The seat has a bit of wear on the edges from the same OTB episodes.

If you are a weight conscious racer then this should be your Christmas present to yourself. The Anthem X Advanced SL-0 is a beauty and I am only selling it as it deserves to be ridden by a much better rider than me, rather than living in the dark in my lockup and not getting out.

Happy to entertain serious buyers for a viewing or maybe a test ride, lives on the lower North Shore.
