Wollombi wild ride
Hi Guys doing the wollombi wild ride next weekend and im keen to do a reconnaissance ride this weekend. Is it possible? is there anybody who knows the area and would been keen to show me around?

Broke a spoke at Awaba the other day and took it in to a big bike shop on Griffith Rd on Wed, my wheels being Mavic SL's need spokes to be ordered generally, so I expect that but after feeling like I really was interupting the bloke that served me's day, I asked how long I might expect to get it back. Got a dunno mate we'll call you in a couple days and let you know, when I then asked how long after they got the spoke I got dunno mate depends on the workshop.

Just spent 3 blissful hours cruising 90% dry only water in the usual places (low land) get stuck in! while the weathers good.
ps. nice work on bj guys. but i hope your new entry/exit is not going to waste as i see new lines being cut to connect with bj from top trail

Ebay Carbon Frames
These things have gotten me all curious. There are a heap of sellers out of Hong Kong, Taiwan and China essentially selling the same carbon frames very cheaply.
I know someone who has bought one of the road frames and been very happy with it, but I was curious if anyone had tried one of the mtb hardtails. Wondering if these are worth looking at, or if its likely that what turns up will be some brittle excuse for a carbon frame.
For those with no idea what I am talking about, here are a few random links (and this is not even close to an exhaustive list).
