Hi All,
I’m raising money for Bear Cottage while I compete in the High Land Fling this year. My Team and I hope to raise $4000, so if you'd like to sponsor me or one of my team mates, go to http://www.everydayhero.com.au/highland_fling_se...

The inspiration to raise money during the fling came from watching Insight on SBS on Tuesday night (5/10/2010) where a little boy named Archie, aged 7 months, (the same age as my daughter, Charlie) was cared for at Bear Cottage, which helped their family to cope with his illness and make preparations for taking him home. He is not expected to live past his first birthday. You can watch part 2 of insight http://news.sbs.com.au/insight/episode/index/id/... for more information about Archie.

If you don’t know anything about Bear Cottage, well it’s a very special place where life is celebrated, lived to the fullest and fondly remembered. It is a children’s hospice that helps families cope with the impossible – to care for a child who has a life-limiting illness. So please donate generously to this very worthy cause. You can find more information about Bear Cottage and the amazing work that they do at http://www.bearcottage.chw.edu.au/

To help raise awareness, could you please pass this on. You can follow us on facebook as well…
Thanks
Geoff.
