Is there any info if they are running the XCM series for 2012 and if so, what events will count towards it?

I saw on Twitter that they will be announcing it either this week or next.
....did anyone see who ended up coming 5th overall in the XCM series for this year?
It was awarded to poor James on the day, but after further analysis, it turns out that he missed out on the 5th place in the series by........
0.4 of a second!
That was enough to give some other dude the 5th place overall, but it wasnt worked out in time to re-take the podium shots.
I reckon 0.4 of a second is as good as a draw anyway - especially over the course of 3 Marathons!
that next year they get the backend rankings and point scoring working a lot better. It's been problematic all year
i.e. I'm trying to work out who won the Single Speed category (between Deon Revet and Joe Johnston) but it's showing as being led by two people who only did one event Single Speed and the rest in geared classes, go figure

It's crazy that it comes down to less than a second over 16 hours of racing, still a place is a place so bask in the glory
