Just a quick note to tell everyone that the mens Elite field for this race is probably one of the best assembled outside of the big Marathons (Convict, Fling). The full Rockstar team, the mens Swell / Specialized team, a number of the Target Trek boys, as well as some independants (like myself) will all be battling for the points - its the last race of the series, and positions in the rankings WILL change.
The course looks great, the weather looks good, and it will be fun racing against Australias best riders.

Get involved!

... should mean that the front end of the field at the Wollombi Wild Ride takes a few seconds longer to disappear into the distance ahead of me if all the guns are in the 'bra. Smiling

Fatboy's picture

With a field like that I had better lower my expectations now then. Bet I can smash down more pies post race than any of those elite whippets though!

Scottboy's picture

How many pies you put down fatboy I put one down , how did your race go ?With me getting over the man flu I didnt have a good day so we pulled the pin early &went back to the caravan park we were staying at and rode Bruce ridge today....

Fatboy's picture

I've done some serious arterial damage since the race @smiley with pies, sausage rolls, burgers and alcohol. Wife has the man flu also which meant while I was racing she was in bed at the Crowne Plaza with a fever and a 6 & 4 year old going ballistic in the room... I took them to the snow today and just got back so will do an event write up after some zzzzzzz

It's been going around lately hope she recovered ok
