Now in its second year the JetBlack twenty four hour Sydney will be back in the Del Rio Resort, Wiseman's Ferry on February 6+7 2010.

The second MTB GP held together with the Hunter Mountain Bike Association in the fantastic new Awaba MTB park. A qualifying session will determine the start grid.
Transport to Highland Fling
St Ives Patterson's Patisserie - 237 Mona Vale Rd St Ives there is a car park over the road where you can easily leave your car for the weekend.
Sydney based riders who are riding The Highland Fling, here’s an opportunity. If you don't want to be driving off the road on the way home here's the trip for you!
The trip will leave on Saturday from three different locations and come back Sunday night. Trip departure times are somewhat subject to change depending on where people need to be collected. Please use these times as a guide at this point in time.

4Km SW of Wingello village on Caoura Rd there's a small base camp within the forest - seems as good a place as any.
Route description
The three loops pass through the Big Top event centre located at the Wingello Forest Trailhead. The loops will be completed in the order below:
Granny Gear
Blue Ring
6km of fast firetrail will separate the speedsters from the rose sniffers and allows riders to find their legs. There won’t be a lot of granny gear on the Granny Gear loop.
Big Dog
Red Ring

Merida X-Fusion 6Hr Enduro
Our good friend Duncan at DIY MTB / X-Fusion has put together a six hour enduro. The race will be run on one of the sweet 'SCUM' xc tracks near Nowra. It is flowing single track with just enough fire trail added in to aid passing. It will probably follow a simillar format to the WWS. Deb and I have signed up and are looking forward to it.

First 100Km race
The first 100Km was tough, after that it got much easier.
Dirty Scummers
Scumming is dangerous... mmmmkay.
Case in point... the final kilometres of a stage of the tour of turkey. One dirty b@start grabs the yellow jersey and shoves him off his bike (this clip is available in HQ direct on YT):
