Slow Sunday Laps?

Anyone feel like a few (3?) laps of the Dam tomorrow? Not too early... perhaps 10:30?

I won't be looking to break any records, just a nice steady pace.

I'd like some notice to do some slow laps later
a bit booked for a few weeks with own plans, but need to see the dam area
what it has to offer, for the old farts who like to take piccys.

after 8 1/2 hours at Mt York today, the best part was the 400m of sniggle on the way back towards Barden Lookout.

Sorry, yeah it was a bit late notice. Next time though!

Nice little ride though and bumped into Tien & Buck for 3.5 of the 5 laps completed. Erm, yeah... 3... 5... what's the difference? Eye-wink

Matter of interest, what time is a 'slow' lap?

I think we were doing around 40min laps for 5 laps Rob?

I think my computer read something like 3hrs 20 something minutes moving time for the 5 laps

Well, I was doing this ride with my HR alarm on zone 3 (148BPM max) as trying to gauge what that felt like.

We stopped to re-group a couple times each lap and managed 44:15, 43:48, 42:53 and 44:23. By then Buck & Tien had left (they did 1.5 laps before I started) so the last lap alone without stops was 38:51. That's still over 5 mins down on my (rather old) fastest lap so slow enough.
