Steps by boardwalk
Really... what were they thinking!
Install steps with big, hard, pointy bits next to a slippery boardwalk is a recipe for unnecessary injury! 
These steps should be much further from the track.
I'm also amazed that before any works this section looked like this:
So some step-like sandstone was removed and replaced by boardwalk, only to have real steps built alongside later.

Who is coming up with this crap?
Box steps were given up as a bad joke on MTB tails 10 years ago. All that happens in the dirt in the middle get packed in or knocked out leaving you with a big set of wheel grabbers, or ankle breakers if walking...
Rocks are where it's at. The bigger the better. Nothing looked wrong with how it was now they've only served to spoil the natural look and feel of the terrain while adding extra dangers.
