Trails are in great condition. Get out and ride!

Do you have more information?

If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

Good to see the visually impaired were out today. Maybe they should've had a guide dog, to show them the correct way around the trails. Saw 1 idiot descending Snakes and Ladders, finishing off with a big skid. He was riding a matt brown anodised duallie (Specialized??) and wearing a black jersey with white stripes.

Also had a pair come head on to me on Seuss and informed them that it was uni directional. Appears the Glenrock gods sorted them out with a puncture on one of the bikes. I saw them pushing for quite a while.

I saw my first quails. 1 near the top of S&L, just before it breaks out to the quarry and 1 at 6 Shooter.

Met a couple of guys at the sign when I finished. Jeremy and Luke, if memory serves me correctly. They didn't know of GTA, but do now. They did a nice 40 odd kilometres on flat pedals.

All in all, it was a great ride. Need to practice snakes and ladders a whole lot more as I stopped 4 times on the climb. 32:19 on the 29er.

Look, the directional thing is going to require a cultural shift in riders thinking. Its not going to happen over night.

Trails like suess land are the least critical ones to get directional. Snakes and ladders has obvious conflict and sustainability reasons for the direction, Kenny's has the conflict thing happening. I will admit, the NPWS wanted suess land uni directional due to the ecological constraints in that area and a fear of trail wideing. That trail hasn't widened in twenty years, so its shouldn't start now.

I guess what I am saying is, over time people will follow the directions more. Directional trails are a new concept in the park and it will take a while to catch on. Other than Snakes and Ladders, I wouldn't get to narky at people.

I informed them they were going the wrong direction on Seuss and that was it. I even thanked them for moving out of the way on seismic as they walked down it. I was just at the top of the gully on S&L side, when I saw the other guy exit, so didn't say anything as I didn't see the point shouting.
