Manly Dam

I went around this morning. There are a few puddles, but nothing major. The track remains clean and clear and open for riding.

first time around manly today, was quite the fun ride, but my wife didn't take too kindly to it... her first time on a fairly long and at times technical trail... so much for it being beginner to advanced, a lot of it was pretty difficult for her even to walk around! but we made it in the end. a few hours a mt stromlo a week ago helped her confidence a lot!

The fire road sections are definitely green Sticking out tongue but most of the rest is "blue" and some parts "black"

Most would agree that "beginner" is misleading.

If you're looking for beginner friendly trails with a great view at the end, Perimeter + Long out-and-back ticks a few boxes. It's nearly all firetrail, but still great fun.

There is no single track Hawkeye , but is a good ride like you say especially the sand traps lol

It's even legal. But if I told you where it was I'd have to kill you.

I could be persuaded not to do that if you handed over your 29er. Smiling

Yes, there are some tricky bits there. I didn't help you in an unusual position at the 19th hole did I? (we had a short discussion about someone I knew who fell over walking their bike down the 19th hole and broke their wrist?)

To say its a beginner to intermediate trail is very misleading. There are too many bits thrown in along the way to make it even an intermediate trail. I walked quite a bit of it the first time i rode there but it had been close to 20 years since i had touched a pushbike
