Area:
Manly Dam
Status:
Green/Open

Some small puddles after the rain last night although should dry out with this wind fairly quickly. Also watch out for the branch when coming out of the park up to Cootamunda drive.. it's very low and has slipped further down since last week.

Track is in good shape... get out there and ride!

Do you have more information?

I might go for a walk with the brush saw.

It caught me by surprise too!
The board walks are also slippery, I managed a 180 turn on the boards leading down to golf course rock (immediately after the "patio" area.

I was riding on Sunday and was almost coathanged by it! I was going to make a post asking if anyone could, but I guess you've put your hand up for the job Smiling

Unfortunately I didn't get to it last weekend. We have a trail maintenance day Saturday with a whole 3 people signed up so far Sad (come on guys this is pathetic. We can do better. Where are you all?) so I'll swing by on the way.

I have constant back problems and as I use my body for work I can't be going digging etc on my days off.
Being self employed I've gotta be carefull and look after myself although its constantly slipping out of place and costing me expensive time off.
Now if council liability insurance lets me do what I do for a living and you need any woodwork done then let me know?

That's what's causing your LBP!

Yeah give up Gazza...it's not like you're fast or anything.

PS. I've totally wrecked my back or I'd be there honest

I stuffed it years ago when i was doing furniture removals for a living. Had 6 months on workers comp with a compressed disc and damaged nerves.
I get scoliosis and displacement about once a month these days but i know it's a lot to do with tight hip flexors from cycling and the work i do.
I'f i'm training hard and building a deck at work (bent over all day) I can't even stand straight. I know i need to stretch more, spend more time on the foam roller, do pilates or yoga etc but there's really not enough hours in the day!

As a courier driver the only time I have no back niggles is on my bike!-please let me win Lotto or Powerball then ride all the time LOL

Same! The position I'm in when I can't stand straight is the perfect position for cycling.
Maybe my body is trying to tell me something???
