Look on the bright side , at least most of us still have our houses. We will just have to find something else to do until this blows over.
.... there was noone else about early this morning except a dog walker.
Oops.
As I was riding past in the rain.. I did think to take a photo of the sign flashing total fire ban, the needle pointing to moderate fire danger, the heavy clouds in the sky and the puddles I was yet to splash through..
Crazy world we live in eh?
It still can't be closed today can it? I desperately need to go and ride today to get ready for the husky100.
The official Warringah website says its open now...

Spoke to the council and they sais at this stage the dam is open , but if the weather turns we could close it at anytime.
