Amber/Some Issues Got this message from a rider earlier:
I was riding around Manly dam this morning and a worker said they are replacing the 2 bridges after Wookie rock / 19th hole, this will be finished by friday arvo, but there will be no way around the first one they reckon.
Do you have more information?
If you've ridden here lately please add a more recent report. This will be useful even if the condition is the same as updates expire after 30 days.

The second bridge is gone this morning. There's a whole cyclone wire setup around it and two guys working on it. Detour goes up to the left beside the houses to get around it.
Be good to see that first one replaced and widened. Like they said, not sure there's anywhere to detour around that one
Wider would be good. I keep bumping my 710mm bars and have lost a few left hand bar plugs to those guys. The guys on DH/AM rigs I sometimes see must struggle.
yeah the first one got me big time one ride had one of my worst dam stacks ever clipping the handle bars as I went through it ...straight over the front and badly hung up on the bike ..I will be very happy to see it gone ... wow the dams getting better and better goodtimes!!!
I've caught the bridge a few times with the wide bars too but nothing too bad as mentioned above. I think the Dam is getting better too and I like the modifications. Be riding there Friday afternoon, hopefully the bridge work will be finished.
