Trail was very passable, although a bit muddy in places. Real problem is the bad erosion and rutting in parts, particularly on the north side where it shares with walkers. A couple of times I had to push up slopes as the trail was so degraded it wasn't safe to ride.
Advise you only try this trail if you are a competent rider with a decent bike - knobbly tyres and preferably full suspension as there are lots of dropoffs and rough, sweeping runs.

Wakehurst side is pretty dry. Firetrail from the creek is wet with some muddy patches. Single track from firetrail down to 19th hole is a mess. Lots of puddles on firetrail from Manly Vale school.
